The government always knows how to spend your money better than you.
That’s what NDP MLA Deron Bilous believes.
When we scrapped the NDP’s carbon tax to help Albertans and stimulate investment.
He was no fan.
He actually smeared businesses and farmers who struggle with the increased costs of the carbon tax.
“But the whole companies are going out of business because of the carbon tax – I’m sorry,” Bilous said. “If paying a few thousand dollars extra a month means you went out of business maybe you need to look at your business plan or at least the management of your company.”
Watch this.. @DeronBilous and the @albertaNDP think that if your business had to pay "a few thousand dollars extra a month" because of their carbon tax, then "maybe you need to look at your business plan."

We think the NDP needs to listen to what Albertans said about their plan. pic.twitter.com/lxI04i1eCV
Yikes.
It should be no surprise that the NDP want to raise taxes by 20 per cent on our job creators. They have a government always knows best approach and would rather blame businesses as opposed to bad government policy if they don’t succeed.
The fact is, the NDP is totally out of touch with Albertans.
They can’t handle that Albertans rejected them and their carbon tax at the polls.
It’s time that Bilous and the NDP supported our job creators instead of wagging their fingers at them.
