In the last federal election, nearly 70 per cent of Albertans voted for the only federal party that campaigned in support of pipelines and our energy sector.
Rachel Notley and the NDP had the opportunity to stand with this clear majority of Albertans and campaign against her federal NDP and Liberal allies.
Instead, she endorsed NDP MP Heather McPherson.
The same NDP MP who campaigned against Teck Frontier, a project that would’ve meant $70 billion in government revenues over the lifetime of the project.
Rachel Notley personally endorsed NDP MP Heather McPherson last October. Now, McPherson is working with her NDP colleagues in Ottawa to oppose Teck Frontier.

When will Rachel Notley condemn these remarks from her federal NDP friends? #ableg pic.twitter.com/TAR4fbO2YN
The same NDP MP whose leader not only campaigns against all pipeline projects across the country, but actively wants to see the downfall of Alberta’s entire oil and gas sector.
Of course, Rachel Notley was totally silent as McPherson campaigned against major energy projects here in Alberta.
It’s no surprise really. It’s the same pattern from the NDP. They’d rather keep their anti-pipeline friends happy. It’s against their instincts to put Alberta first.
