Despite actively campaigning against the Northern Gateway pipeline and Keystone XL before being elected in 2015, Rachel Notley and her government tried to pretend they had the backs of workers in our energy sector.
After Albertans thoroughly rejected them at the polls, the NDP are back to their old ways.
They’ve grown increasingly insulted every time they see one of our MLAs proudly showing their support for our oil and gas sector.
NDP MLA Marie Renaud even tweeted out a barf emoji when our MLA Dale Nally asked if she’d like a copy of the shirt in orange.
Renaud doesn’t just oppose support for our oil and gas sector.
She’s showed support for a massive new sales tax on Albertans.
She’s publicly opposed Alberta getting a Fair Deal from Ottawa.
In government, NDP MLAs twisted themselves into knots pretending to be supporters of our energy sector.

Not once has she taken these comments back. Not once has Rachel Noltey condemned these comments or contradicted them.
The fact is, Albertans just can’t trust the NDP to stand up for our energy sector and the economy.
