Extinction Rebellion in Our Classrooms? All Good According to NDP MLA Janis Irwin!

The NDP’s coddling of fringe activists is totally out of touch with Albertans. Can you help share this story? Our party and conservative movement is powered by ordinary Albertans from right across the province. You can help strengthen our movement and push back against the NDP for their bad ideas and reckless behavior.

Extinction Rebellion.

They want Alberta’s entire oil and gas sector shut down in just five years.

They routinely shut down traffic in cities right across Canada, including here in Alberta.

If there’s an anti-pipeline protest, or an illegal blockade anywhere in the province, you can bet they were either behind it, or sending their activists to it.

United Conservative MLA Adriana LaGranage took a firm stand and said there’s no space for this type of fringe activism in our classrooms.

But not for Notley’s NDP.

NDP MLA Janis Irwin tweeted out “there is absolutely room for the perspectives of groups like Extinction Rebellion in our classrooms.”

The NDP never learn.

And since that ringing endorsement from Irwin, Extinction Rebellion have been busy organizing and supporting more illegal blockades, and working overtime to shut down major Alberta energy projects.
